Bluebell has been praised for its exceptional standards of care following a recent visit from a regional NHS dental services team, who highlighted the home’s professionalism, organisation, and compassionate approach to resident wellbeing.

As part of a wider programme supporting 28 care homes and more than 1,000 residents across the county, the visiting team recognised Bluebell as an outstanding example of high-quality care and best practice.

From the moment they arrived, the team described the home as warm, welcoming, and exceptionally well organised. Strong teamwork was evident throughout the visit, with staff across all levels working together to create a positive environment for residents.

Particular praise was given to the leadership within the home, with the General Manager and wider support team recognised for maintaining high standards and ensuring excellent day-to-day delivery of care.

The visiting clinical lead commented on the professionalism shown throughout the home and noted the attention to detail in every aspect of resident support and operational planning.

A key highlight of the visit was the way residents were cared for and supported. Staff were observed consistently demonstrating kindness, dignity, and respect in their interactions, reflecting Bluebell’s commitment to delivering person-centred care.

The team also commended the home’s preparation for routine dental visits, recognising the proactive planning and efficient coordination that helps ensure residents receive seamless access to healthcare services.
